Links
These are some of the websites that I have found useful and stimulating in my work. I hope you like them as much as I do!
- The Pianopedia is an excellent reference site from Harvard University. It is a complete listing of piano repertoire searchable by composer, title or date. Marvellous for finding that elusive piece you know only by composer or period.
- The Pianoshop is a place where you can buy and sell pianos online. It also, though, has a section called 'How old is my piano', where, by entering your piano's serial number, you can find out when it was made. They also offer piano valuations and lots more.
- The Association of Blind Piano Tuners' site is a wonderful resource for information about the construction and history of the piano, how to buy and sell pianos and, inevitably and necessarily, a complete listing of British piano tuners.
